As soon as I heard what happened, I had to go see if I could help!
Victoria Marlow is a student at Apophyll Academy and a specialist of Fighting-types. She is considered as one of your rivals, along with Fern and Cain.
Victoria is very caring and nice, but isn't hesitant to fight anyone who might prove trouble or dangerous. She tries to help the player and other characters throughout the story for their own good, but unfortunately ends up being in the way most of the time (unintentionally or not). Although she does try to stay fairly calm and supportive, she can get very angry when things she doesn't expect happen and especially to people she doesn't like.
Victoria is first met outside the Grand Hall shortly after the beginning of the game. She informs the player that Ame has asked her to help the player get signed up in the Reborn System, and escorts them into the Grand Hall.
Inside, Victoria and the player will meet up with Ame, who provides the player and Victoria with the choice of their starter Pokemon. Victoria chooses Litten regardless of which starter you pick (If the player choose Litten, Ame would give her a spare Litten). After Cain battles the player and takes them to get their Pokemon healed, Victoria returns with Ame, and then challenges the player to their second battle. After the battle, Victoria remarks that the player is "no ordinary trainer" and gives them 5 Poké Balls and advises that they challenge the Peridot Gym, before departing.
Victoria is next seen on front of Peridot Gym, telling the player that Obsidia Ward is in trouble and decide to go help them. She is seen in the South Obsidia Ward, and will challenge the player to another battle when they try to access the Obsidia Slums, believing that it is too dangerous for the player to enter. After the player defeats her, she wishes them good luck and advises that they be careful, before leaving.
When the player travels to Lapis Ward after Corey's incident, Victoria is seen comforting Shelly near her gym. After bringing Shelly inside, Victoria heads to the Grand Stairway and is captured before the player sets her free. Upon returning to Shelly's gym, she challenges the player in order to prevent them from fighting a distressed Shelly. After her defeat, she asks the player to go easy on her and leaves.
After defeating Shade, Victoria is found in the Railnet being informed by Cain about the abduction. Once the player arrives at Apophyll Academy, Victoria and Kiki have a discussion while the player goes to fight Cal. Before the gym battle, Victoria informs the player that they were discussing Victoria's future as Apophyll Academy's next sensei and the slow deterioration of Kiki's health. In order to stop the player from fighting Kiki, Victoria challenges the player to a battle. After the player defeats Victoria, she leaves and says the kids must be more important to them than Kiki.
After the gym battle with Kiki, she collapses before she could give the player the gym battle. Victoria says shes going to get some rest and states that Cain never showed up to the academy while the player was trying to find their own way across. As such the player goes to Azurine Island as it is the only place he could be. After rescuing Cain, Victoria hears that Team Meteor is planning to blow up Pyrous Mountain and joins them to get to the top to stop it. When reaching the top, she tells the player she likes Cal and hope to get to know him more. She is supprised that Cain and Cal was defeated already, and challenges Taka while the player battles Solaris.
After the player loses (or defeat) Solaris, Kiki appears to stop PULSE-Camerupt from destroying the island. Cal tries to stop Kiki's attempt at destroying the PULSE-Camerupt, which Victoria felt betrayed that he decided to join Team Meteor. Solaris orders his Garchomp to kill Kiki, which caused her death. Shocked at Solaris' actions, Cal destroys the PULSE-Camerupt with his Magmorter. Victoria is distraught over Kiki's death, Cal tries to explain himself but Victoria doesn't want to hear any of it and yells at him to go away. Cal leaves while Cain tries to comfort her. After returning to Apophyll Academy, Victoria gives the player TMX Strength and states that she will lead Apophyll Academy and wishes Cain and the player good luck in their travels.
Spoiler warning!
This article contains plot details about events that occur later in the game.
The player can see her briefly when traveling down the waterfall to the Water Treatment Center, with Victoria trying to chase the player. After the player activates TMX Fly, Adrienn succeeded in restoring Reborn City. Ame later sends the player to get Arclight, Adrienn, and Victoria to help her with a mission. Victoria is seen near Kiki's grave paying her respects, wondering if this was what she wanted.
After getting everyone, Ame reveals that there is a Team Meteor base in Reborn City itself, and ask everyone to raid it. Adrienn goes with Ame in the store front, while Arclight, Victoria and the player goes underground. Adrienn and Ame were supposedly captured, and later the player blacks out after reaching the top. The five are captured and imprisoned, then forced to fight each other one on one (except for Ame, who battles and loses to Lin). Victoria went up against the player, saying that whoever wins gets to continue and battles them. The player wins the battle, and this results in Victoria getting electrocuted but insist that the player continue without her.
After the player defeats ZEL, the player switches on the monitor. Arclight, Victoria, and Adrienn are then released from the doors. Adrienn appears fine due to xyr pokemon helping xem, but Victoria looks tired from her electrocution and Arclight is faced down on the floor. Adrienn tries to wake Arclight up but then finds out his eye was pulled off. Victoria becomes angry with herself for not being strong enough and Adrienn tries to help her calm down. Victoria wonders why Team Meteor didn't just kill all of them yet, or why she was left alive when Kiki never had a chance to. She becomes livid with Team Meteor for everything they've done and blames herself for not being able to stop them. Adrienn responds that xe doesn't know what happened to her, but says that you can't blame yourself forever for something in the past because you will never move forward. You have to move forward if you want things to change, even if you need to drag the world along with you.
After a heart to heart talk, Adrienn carries Arclight out of the building, only to be outside in North Obsidia Ward. It turns out the group were transferred to another building when they were knocked out. Victoria then goes to Grand Hall to search for the records of this building, while Adrienn goes to find medical care for Arclight. Xe then asks the player to come to xyr gym later.
The player can go find Victoria in the Grand Hall, trying to complete all the paperwork for Reborn City. She also seems sleep deprived, asking if Julia could give her some of her strongest coffee. If you freed the Alolan Vulpix out, she wonders if shes becoming delusional since it supposed to be Mareeps.
She later replaces Kiki and becomes the new sensei (her trainer class also refects this). Gossip Gardevoir later mentions that Victoria became the Reserve Fighting Leader in the news.
Victoria has the most partner battles with the player in the main story, which is three in total.
Prior to Episode 17, Victoria picked Tepig as her starter Pokemon instead of Litten. She also used an Emboar and Gallade as her signatures during the online league, with Gallade still on her in-game team.
