You cannot convince me that Anna is not a member of the Elite Four. She's gonna be a Psychic-user, yes? In the Starlight Arena? With her ace, Jirachi? Really, we know she has a really high rank, yet we know none of her Pokemon. Trainers always use their ace in the overworld (with the exception of Hardy), and we haven't seen hers? No wonder, it needed to be a big reveal.
