Rhodochrine Jungle

Template:Location Infobox The Rhodochrine Jungle is a jungle to the west of the Beryl Ward. Battles here either take place in a Forest Field or a Cave, depending on what part of the map they are in.

In the game

While making their way left through the forest, the player falls through a trap set by wild Nuzleaf and is locked in a cage. After pacing the cage to try to find an escape, Fern approaches the cage and mocks the player for their predicament.

...Haha...walks away walks back Really sorry about that, <player>, I just had to step away for a moment to keep from bursting into laughter. Seeing you trapped in that cage is just too much. You look so helpless, though...It suits ya. I mean, really, imprisoned by Nuzleaf...? Man, I come up here hoping to find a gym leader and I just find some scrub in a cage... By the way, <player>, how many badges do you have now? Turns out the leaders are super easy. I tore through two of them already! And here you are stuck in a cage. It's priceless! Well, can't totally blame ya. Nuzleaf are deceptively crafty to be able to build all this. Guess they did it to keep intruders out. ...Or in your case, in. Don't you worry, though, top dog Fern's here to help you out. I'll gladly open the cage for you... If you get on your knees and beg. Whaddya say? If the player answers Yes Perfect. Now get on all fours...like a dog... and repeat after me: I, <player>, admit that I am an inferior Trainer, Battler, and Person to Fern. (option to refuse appears again) Furthermore, I, <player>, swear that I will never get in Fern's way again, because I'm not worth the time it takes him to step on me. (option to refuse appears again) Finally, I, <player>, fully embrace the fact that I will NEVER be remotely anywhere as cool, stylish, popular, talented, good-looking, or likable as Fern. (option to refuse appears again) Haha... So desperate. Love it, man. No worries, I'll keep my end of the bargain. That's that. I'm not saving you again, princess, so stay out of trouble, a'ight? Later, loser! If the player answers no at any point You're not gonna do it...? Fine, suit yourself. Rot in there, for all I care! Later, loser! After a considerable amount of pacing about the cage, a Chatot will release the player from their cage, echoing specific orders to do so.

In this cavern, one of the missing policemen has been captured by the same troop of Nuzleaf.

Ill-Fated Totem

After you get access to Rock Smash outside of Battle (By acquiring the 3rd Gym Badge from Shelly), you can access a different part of the Jungle through the Beryl Cave and come across TM20 Safeguard and a Totem. If you have the Ill-fated Doll and interact with the totem, an Elgyem, Baltoy or Golett will pop out and attack you giving you the chance to catch it. There are possibly more pokemon available.

Post city restoration

Kecleon cave

In the same cavern, after the reconstruction of Reborn City, a group of Kecleon will attack the player if the player has the Silvon Scope. Defeat all 13 Kecleon and they will leave.

Beating the onslaught of Kecleons rewards you with Treecko and TM33 Reflect.
