The Malchous Forest is a forest to the west of the Jasper Ward.
Battles here take place in a Forest Field.
In the game
Upon reaching the inner clearing, a scarved man introduces himself as Taka and laments the damages of the PULSE Machine. He elaborates on the PULSE project and its effects on the Pokémon used in it. He claims he'd like to set the Tangrowth free, but has orders to follow-Including eliminating the player. After his defeat, he mentions another PULSE Machine in the Beryl Ward.
After his exit, a young girl approaches the player, angry that she was not the first to remove Team Meteor from the area. She commands the player to leave the next machine to her, and leaves on a Salamence.
After beating the pulse a path opens. There is an egg at the end.
