Laura Belrose is a member of the Elite Four of the Reborn League, as well as the younger sister of Saphira and the older sister of Charlotte. She specializes in the Fairy type and Grass type. She, together with Bennett, forms a tag team that serves as the 2nd opponent the player faces during the player's first Elite Four challenge. During subsequent challenges, she, on her own, is the 2nd member.
Story Events[]
Lapis Ward[]
Laura is first encountered leaving the Dr. Connal's Orphanage upon the player's first visit there, although she remains unnamed until later.
Belrose Manse[]
She is next encountered at Belrose Manse. After the Protagonist, Charlotte, Noel, Anna, and Shelly arrive, she greets them and welcomes them into her family's house. Later, she is seen spectating the Players attempt to start their Gym match with Noel, though they are interrupted before it can begin by Saphira, who informs them that Team Meteor and Dr. Sigmund Connal have allied with each other and are seeking to recapture the children.
It is possible for her to be one of the kidnapped parties after the assault is over, due to Dr. Sigmund Connal ordering his Electrivire to paralyze Laura instead of her Pokemon.
Tanzan Meteor Base[]
A separate route can occur where instead of traveling with Saphira to the Meteor Base in Tanzan Mountain, you travel with Laura. If this route is chosen, after being teleported to the Tanzan Depths, Laura will give more backstory about a child named Lin at the orphanage. She explains how the child would torment the children in the orphanage by exposing secrets, due to manipulation or by pranking others. Specifically towards Laura, Lin would break 1 out out of 8 miscellaneous objects Laura had, which is why Laura hates the number 7. She further explains that after a prank is pulled on Dr. Sigmund Connal, Lin was taken up the orphanage stairs and was never seen again afterwards. Laura also comments that Lin would have to be younger than Anna (12 years old), so she has doubts on Lin's relation with Team Meteor.
Tanzan Depths[]
Venturing further into the depths to hopefully find and regroup with Saphira (who was stuck at the bottom of the chasm), Laura knocked unconscious by an Gargantuan Steelix and the player has to protect her. Once defeated, Saphira takes Laura back to Tanzan Cove and leaves the player to deal with Team Meteor.
Calcenon City[]
Later on, she is seen in Charlotte's gym blaming herself for seemingly being fired from the Elite Four by Ame. There is no justification or warning for this decision, and Laura has already been replaced. Laura then notices the player, apologizes to them, and leaves. Charlotte explains that Laura doesn't like to be seen crying by other people.
Not long after, Laura is kidnapped by Team Meteor, and put to sleep by Bennett through Hypno's powers. In truth, Elias forced her replacement under the table, and instated Bennett, as the two had previously agreed to. She is thus held captive in the Glass Workstation as she sleeps.
Glass Workstation[]
After Gossip Gardevoir accidentally sends herself, Cain and the Player into the Void by ultimately destroying the PULSE Hypno, Laura finally wakes up, confused as to where she is. Bennett immediately apologizes for what he (under El's tutelage) and El forced her to do under Hypno's control, to which she forgives him right away. They then leave to erase the surveillance tapes of the Main Chamber so that no-one from Meteor can re-enact that the PULSE-Hypno got ultimately destroyed. They also to hunt down Zero who's on his way to Labradorra City to report the incident in the Glass Workstation.
Calcenon City[]
Somewhere off-screen, Saphira finds Laura, Bennett, and Zero, who is unconscious. Laura and Bennett try to explain to her that Bennett is no longer allied with Team Meteor. This is to little effect, however, as Saphira believes neither of them. When they reach Calcenon, Saphira begins to threaten to harm Zero should Bennett not tell her the truth. Because of Bennett's response, Saphira strikes him, which alarms Laura. Saphira strikes him again not long after, and Laura puts herself between the two to make her stop. Laura refuses to move, which shocks Saphira, who then asks her what did Bennett to do earn her grace. In response, Laura asserts that she doesn't believe that respect and mercy are things to be earned. Saphira retorts that respect and mercy will not keep her safe from her enemies, and Laura tells her that she'd rather be in danger. This further disappoints Saphira, who thinks Laura has fallen into naiveté. However, Laura replies that it is more naive to believe people are not worth believing in. She even places her faith in Sigmund, who, in her view, was trying to do what he thought was right, even if he tortured her and her sisters. Laura believes even Sigmund can change. Saphira, reminding herself of her traumatic experiences caused by him, descends into a panicked stupor. Laura explains that she needs time to collect herself, and that this would happen in the Orphanage for days at a time. She then takes Saphira to a nearby building.
When the player enters said building, they find the Belrose sisters in the middle of an argument. Saphira feels that Laura has betrayed her by humanizing Sigmund, and believing he can change. She thinks Laura forgot about the abuse they suffered, which Laura assures her she hasn't. Saphira doesn't relent, speculating that Charlotte and Laura may have blocked some things out of their memories. Laura doesn't want to believe violence is the only answer they have, however, as she thinks it perpetuates the pre-existing cycle. She fails to convince Saphira, who claims her reasoning is exactly what will get her hurt. Laura accepts being hurt, however, which makes Saphira thinks she's still childishly naive. Laura relents, telling her that everyone's entitled to their own opinions of what is best to do, including Charlotte and the player. After the conversation is over and Saphira leaves, the player can speak to Laura. She tells them that people have reasons for what they do, even if those reasons seem wrong, or strange. She claims she believes it is more important to understand these reasons, rather than immediately pass judgment for one's actions.
Soon, when several other characters are reunited before the wall over Labradorra, Laura speaks to her sister again. Because Saphira still doubts Bennett, Laura urges her to trust him. When Saphira speaks about the past, where she was naive, Laura adds that she used to be very unstable. Laura recalls one instance when Saphira would beat someone who is implied to be Lin, and then bawl over it. When the wall is deactivated, Laura points out to Saphira that Bennett was telling the truth, and so, she sets off for Labradorra City. Lastly, she takes the responsibility of protecting Sigmund from Saphira.
Labradorra City[]
The player finds Laura and Bennett running out of the LCCC, having found PULSE 09 - Mr. Mime within. Laura didn't recognize what is was. The pair then encounter Elias, who expresses his disappointment at Bennett's betrayal. After an argument between the two, Bennett beckons Laura, and the two leave elsewhere. They do not appear in Labradorra Arena.
Charous Hall[]
Laura is next found in Charous Hall, awaiting the player in the second Elite Four room. She greets the player, and soon after Bennett joins her. The two explain that they reached a compromise between each other, which was to fight together, each representing one of the two Types each Elite Four member uses. They had previously gotten permission from Grand Hall to fight that way. Laura asks the player to look beyond Bennett's questionable past, and treat them both as one and the same. She does not believe one's condition in the past should determine their treatment in the present, as she says. Both her and Bennett then speak about the cycles and changes of nature, and how it adapts and renews itself. Alongside him, she claims that change is necessary. After their defeat, Laura adds that butterflies and buttercups are not so different, and that everyone must find beauty in their own struggle to grow. Afterwards, the pair surrenders the Sapphire Bracelets to the player.
Nightclub[]
Laura shows up in the Nightclub in Tier 1 on the postgame. She appears alongside Bennett, who along with her was informed by Julia that the player had been cursed to become a Wimpod. This was a lie, by Julia's own admission, but Laura was left concerned with the player. She is relieved to see them back to normal, and offers them company with herself and Bennett whenever they wish to.
Charous Hall[]
Laura meets the player again in Charous Hall, along with Flora. She responds to Flora's callousness with kindness, explaining that everyone in the Elite Four has been through much. She assures her that she doesn't want to insult her abilities, and that she looks forward to seeing her strength.
Facing defeat, Laura is pleasantly surprised by seeing how Flora uses Grass Types. In response, Flora again acts callously, calling the battle "free". Laura disagrees, but also says that it's enough for her if Flora is proud of her victory. Flora tells her she is too nice for her own good, to which Laura says that has been told that before. She also suggests that Flora meets her younger daughter, judging them to be similar. However, she quickly brushes off the suggestion, thinking it too dangerous. After Flora leaves, the player may speak to Laura alone. She comments on how similar Flora is to her own sisters. To her, they would all benefit by setting their respective objectives, and learning to enjoy a moment of tranquility among the flowers. She lastly speculates Flora may use Grass types precisely to have that moment of tranquility.
Not Truly For Children[]
Within Euphie’s memory of the Orphanage, Laura is found in the building's arena. She, along with Charlotte, Noel, and Anna, heard the shouting that happened during Euphie and Sigmund's session. Anna suggested they all battle Euphie, in order to let him blow off some steam. Laura agrees to do this, and she fights alongside Charlotte after Euphie and the player defeat Anna and Noel. Lin then makes her presence known after Laura and Charlotte are defeated. During everyone's conversation with her, Lin reveals that she heard the entirety of Euphie and Sigmund's session. Laura calls her out on that, telling her that she can't violate people's privacy. Lin disregards her call out, stating she can do whatever she want, and fights the player and Euphie. After she looses, Laura advices her to learn more about battling, and playing nice with others. In response, Lin insults her, and tells her she spat in her shampoo. Lin proves it by reciting the exact name and cap position of the shampoo. This greatly upsets Laura, who runs off to likely clean or get rid of it entirely.
Mirage Tower[]
The Belrose sisters decide to have a family outing to Mirage Tower. Things take a turn for the worse when Charlotte calls out Saphira for being over-protective of her. This turns into an argument, causing Charlotte to run away higher up into Mirage Tower?. Laura sets off after her, then comes back down, as Charlotte asks for space. The player finds her at the first floor of Mirage Tower, clueless as to what to do. Saphira ran away to the basement while Laura wasn't there, and she's unsure of how to help Charlotte. Because the basement is also extremely dirty, and because she'd worry about Charlotte if she was only with Saphira, Laura asks the player to help them. She says she isn't fully appreciative of the fact that Bennett asked the player to help her without speaking to her first. However, she is very desperate, and she needs time for herself. Additionally, the basement is also extremely dirty, and she couldn't find one without worrying about the other. For these reasons, Laura asks the player to help her find them.
When the player finds one of the sisters, Laura speaks to her, and determines that it is best to let the player find the other sister without them. This is to give the other sister as much space as possible.
Once the three are reunited, Laura asks her sisters to have a mature conversation about themselves and each other. She is glad to see Charlotte is joking around with Saphira again. Saphira tells Laura she shouldn't have to peacemake between herself and Charlotte, and that she's been a poor excuse for an eldest sister. Laura tells her part her problem is that she continues to place that burden on herself when it is no longer necessary. She urges Saphira to allow herself to be taken care of by her sisters. Before she can finish her first sentence to Charlotte, her younger sister jumps to the assumption that she wants her to throw less hissy fits, and be mature. Laura instead asks her to stop trying to deflect from genuine emotional conversations with sarcasm. Charlotte eventually caves in, joking that she'll be the least sarcastic person on Earth for the next three minutes. Laura admits she does sometimes like her sass. Finally, Laura suggests the three of them pause their Anomaly-hunting activities and instead try and have a nice time together. She adds that there is always something to be gained from stopping to smell the flowers. Charlotte points out they're in a desert with no flowers. To this, Laura responds that these are metaphorical flowers that smell of love, trust, and the experience of growing together. Charlotte and Saphira find this to be mildly cringey and funny. Thus, Laura bids farewell and thanks to the player, and takes her sisters home.
Rhodochrine Jungle[]
Before the incident in Mirage Tower, Laura had organized a tea party in Rhodochrine Forest. She invited Lumi, Eve, Shelly, Heather, and Noel to it, and ordered them food at The Spice. However, because she is spending time with her sisters, she does not turn up to the tea party.

Another Time[]
Ten years into the future, Laura has quit the Elite Four alongside Bennett, who now lives with her in Belrose Manor. They both take care of plants and bug Pokemon, such as Galvantula, with their respective families coming to visit them frequently. This includes Saphira, Charlotte, Serra, and Luna. The player and Taka find her and Bennett speaking to Amaria in Agate City. Amaria asked them for advice regarding her new houseplants. She happens to mention bug Pokemon which give her shocks eating her plant. This causes Laura and Bennett to monologue on the various benefits and drawbacks of Joltik for her plant, her house, and herself. When the player speaks to Laura, she expresses her joy at seeing them again. She also tells them they all live lovely lives, because they live in a lovely world. She is incredibly thankful to the player for saving the region, and thus laying the groundwork so she and her sisters can live as happily as they do now. Lastly, Laura appears in the group photo of Reborn’s League.
