We mustn't let our inner turmoil complicate outside affairs.
Kiki Mikael Argall is the sixth Gym Leader of the Reborn region, as well as the sensei of Apophyll Academy. She specializes in the Fighting-type and is fought at Apophyll Academy. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she does not give the player a Gym Badge.
Kiki is very calm and an inspiration to many of the students in Apophyll Academy. She was the one to recommend Victoria, her apprentice, to take on the Reborn league. Kiki gives lectures daily and hopes the students she teaches would find peace from their current events.
In the game Edit
Kiki is first met in the Apophyll Acadamy giving a lecture to her students. After speaking to Victoria and the player, she gives the player a task to battle Cal on the peak of Pyrous Mountain. She accepts you challenge after you defeat Cal. Once the player defeats Kiki, she collapses on the field. It is revealed that she was close to dying.
Later on in the game, after the player loses to (or defeats) Solaris, Kiki appears to stop PULSE-Camerupt from destroying the island. However, she gets betrayed by Cal and killed by Solaris' Garchomp. Due to her sudden death, Victoria is now the new sensei, but the player gym battle is void. After the events, the player can visit her grave in Beryl Ward.
|This article contains plot details about events that occur later in the game.|
After the player unlocks the wasteland, Kiki's grave can be found. When the player interacts with the grave, the ghost of Kiki will appear in front of the player and battles the player. Once the ghost is defeated, it is revealed to be a Misdreavus (Gastly in previous updates) somehow mimicking her and her strongest Pokemon.
Kiki later appears as one of the visions presented to the player when they are enveloped in the void created by Radomus's Gardevoir - her death at the hands of Solaris's Garchomp is reenacted once the player draws near, after which she expresses her rage at having her hopes and dreams cut short by her diagnosis.
Gym Battle Edit
Wasteland Team Edit
The "ghost" of Kiki is battled on a Wasteland Field in a Single Battle format when you visit her grave in the Byxbysion Wasteland.
- "...To minimize the chaos within... Perhaps-- it's too late..." -When sending out last Pokemon in Apophyll Acadamy.

|A special report from... the Investigation Squad!
Yo, Reborn City! What's up?! We're here with the Reborn Rundown giving you a look at the leaders of the Reborn League! I'm your host, DJ Arclight, now on air!
Our show takes a trip to Apophyll Beach today to visit Kiki, the Reborn League's Fighting Gym Leader! A devout teacher of zen philosophy, Kiki sings the melody that eases the mind and plays the beat to soothe the body.
Her special technique revolves around honing her Pokemon's power with mental focus. And believe me, a Pokemon's power-packed pure focus punch, isn't something any brawler can just shrug off.
Take special care of her Medicham! Its Meditate attack will skyrocket its offensive capabilities, so make sure to take it down before it can set up!
That's all for now, but remember, Trainers, Keep fighting with everything you've got! Hold your spirits high, and even you can defeat the Reborn League!

|Gossip Gardevoir's interview intermission!
Hello! Gossip Gardevoir here in Interview Intermission, bringing YOU the inside scoop on Reborn's celebrity figures!
Today, we’re here with Reborn’s own fighting Gym Leader and sensei of the Apophyll Academy, Kiki!
So, Kiki, tell us about your school?
KIKI: All right. Well, firstly, I should clarify that although I am officially the sensei, at our school there is not one teacher and twenty students. There are twenty-one teachers, and twenty- one students. One must never think themselves above the lessons of our lives, no matter from where they come. Apophyll Academy is an institute of peace. That means, firstly, finding peace within yourself. Only once the chaos within is quelled can one even hope to make a difference in the outside.
GARDEVOIR: So you guys do a lot of meditation and that sort of thing, right?
KIKI: Correct, although meditation and self-reflection are simply one of many ways in which we tune ourselves.
GARDEVOIR: But doesn’t that get boring?
KIKI: If you’re doing it well, then no, it should never.
GARDEVOIR: Because I always fall asleep when I try…Oops~
That's all on today's Interview Intermission. Until next time!
