Kaaaaaaaa... BOOOOOOM!!!

Julia Wilde is the first Gym Leader of the Reborn region, who hands out the first gym badge. She specializes in Electric-types and is fought at the Neo-Circuit Power Plant. She hands out the Volt Badge.

Julia is known to be rather hyperactive and obsessed with explosions. She also trained at the Onyx Trainer's School.

In the game

Julia is very excited and upbeat, and often encourages the player. (though this attitude quickly drops away during her defeat, due to exhaustion) She also has some rather odd behaviors, such as her enthusiasm for explosions and her own slang, such as "booming".

Shortly after exiting the ruined train, Julia shows up to investigate the event. (Her fondness for explosions gives Ame some mild suspicion at first.) After a brief chat with Ame, she gives the player a hearty welcome to Reborn, insisting they take on the Reborn League Challenge.

Later on, as the player approaches her gym in the Lower Peridot Ward, she stops them as she leaves for the Mosswater Factory, inviting them to join her. Interrogation of the culprit from the train station has revealed that he worked as part of Team Meteor, who has a base in the old factory.

After reaching the entrance (and after Julia kicks down the door), the pair is approached by Fern and Florinia. Julia explains that she and Florinia were schoolhood friends. She still greatly cares about Florinia, making sure to give her a nickname to replace "Flobot".

After entering the factory, she splits up with Florinia and heads down the right hallway. When the pairs meet up again, she suggest the player and Fern hunt down Team Meteor's explosive supplies, while Florinia attempts to hack into the security system.

Upon entering, Julia confronts a mysterious man about the events at Peridot Station, but the man simply explains how strongly Team Meteor held the upper hand in the factory. Julia battles him alongside Florinia, but after his defeat, Team Meteor escapes the factory.

Julia, of course, decides to use the explosives on it.

Afterwards, Julia makes an attempt to rekindle her friendship with Florinia, but Florinia continues to keep up her emotional defenses. Julia is saddened by this, but doesn't let it damper her mood too badly, and happily invites the player to challenge her at her gym.

Soooo something superduperly cool happened today~ I. Made. Cheerleading Captain! Many booms were had! But I feel bad... Hey, that rhymes~   Maybe I can work that into a cheer.  Anyway, I feel bad, cuz Amy had to give up her spot, orrrr well, she didn't HAVE to, but she did. Buuuut, she recommended that I take her place, and I did!    Amy was such a great captain, though~ I can't understand why she wanted to leave.   And then afterwards, I wanted to go out to celebrate but Tania and Amy were hanging out in their room like usual, so it was just Rini...  And of course, Rini never wants to go anywhere, because she's too shy and all 'social interaction is not a productive blahblahblah'...    So here I am. Mrrrrrrrr. I think I'll just go to sleep... Nightsies, diary!.

Julia's a bombastic battling babe bursting onto the scene after having graduated from the Onyx Trainers' School. Today we're meeting Julia Wilde in a quaint cafe to get a bite-- and a scoop. Here she comes now-- She strolls through the door, swagger in her step and saffron seifuku in full bloom, she rocks a pair of shades like it's nobody's business and they just have to deal with it. The girl's got style, the girl's got class, she's coming this way-- ...And she crashed. Julia, helloooo? I'm over here! JULIA: Huh... GARDEVOIR: Just where where you looking?! You walked right into that table! JULIA: Oh... Good morning... GARDEVOIR: Wait, were you wearing those shades just to hide the fact that your eyes were closed as you were walking?! JULIA: Well, duh... How else am I gonna sleepwalk without anyone noticing? GARDEVOIR: I'm not so sure that's quite how sleepwalking works, dear. JULIA: Hey, who's the expert here? You or me? I don't see you sleepwalking into any tables! GARDEVOIR: As if I would! So much for class... Come on, pick up that chair and sit down. So, Julia, I understand that you have somewhat of a fixation with blowing things up. JULIA: It's just a hobby! GARDEVOIR: Could you tell us how that got started? JULIA: Yeah! Okay, so when I was younger I dated this guy named Rod-- actually was it Rod? Maybe that was Ringo... I always get them mixed up. Anyways-- So we were out at the park this one time and he keeps like, checking his phone, right? So at one point he steps into the restroom and I check it too, to like, see what was so important that he was taking time away from me-- anyway, it turned out he was texting this other girl, and you know, there's really only one logical thing to do in a situation like that, right? Which is to open up his phone and change around a couple wires and have a Pokemon jolt up the battery, just to make it glitch out, give a little spook, right? I mean, that's what anyone would do. So he gets back from the bathroom and starts up the phone and he doesn't expect a thing but I'm just sitting there like ":3c" And then suddenly the whole device sparks and the screen melts and he screams and throws it away and it hits a wall and BOOM! I hadn't felt that excited in years! Like blowing things up is WAY more fun than guys. But if you COMBINE the two it's even better! Not that I'm trying to blow up any guys up... But you know, the look on their faces is just priceless! GARDEVOIR: I'm... sure it is. Listen, have you considered professional therapy? JULIA: Therapy? Me? Oh no, I'm not really good at giving advice and helping people. I'm flattered you think so though! Anyway, I thought the whole kaboom-thing might come up today, so I prepared a demonstration!
