Map Interactive Map Location of Obsidia Ward in Reborn.
The Obsidia Ward is the third ward you will pass through on your journey through the Reborn region. Similar to the Peridot Ward, it is split up into the Obsidia Ward, the North Obsidia Ward, and the South Obsidia Ward.
The Salon is the first building you'll see upon entering the Obsidia Ward. Employees here greatly care about Pokémon's happiness, and they know a lot about it, too. One employee can tell you how much your Pokémon likes you, and another will give you a Soothe Bell if you've raised your Pokémon to be happy enough to satisfy her. A third employee will groom your Pokémon for 1500 once per day, which raises its happiness.
Critical Capture[]
Next door to the salon is Critical Capture, a specialty Poké Ball store that sells Poké Balls with great catch rates, but niche uses.
Located across the street from Critical Capture is an economic giant so powerful that nearly all nearby businesses went bankrupt. The Devon employees cheerfully remind you of the Devon Corp's great history, its bright future, and its present that you are strictly forbidden from knowing too much about.
Sweet Kiss Candy Shop[]
Next to the Devon Corp building is Sweet Kiss Candy Shop which, as its name suggests, sells Candy items. In addition to this, Sweet Kiss Candy Shop also has a slide puzzle in the image of a Swirlix, should you complete the puzzle you will be awarded a Swirlix for your time. As far as I am aware this can be repeated indefinetly.
On the other side of the Pokémon Center is a house with stairs leading down to the other side of the Underground Railnet, where a few new Pokémon can be caught.
To the right of the Pokémon Center is the Day Care. However, whenever you go in and talk to the Day Care couple, they will be acting strangely saying that they are "actually closed". Talking to them repeatedly results in them becoming more irritated, until eventually the pair give up and reveal their true identities as members of Team Meteor. After their defeat the pair explain their scheme and admit they locked the real Day Care couple away somewhere else and hid the key somewhere else. The Warehouse Key can be found in Obsidia Park and opens the warehouses in the Coral Ward.
Obsidia Park[]
A large park located in the center of the Obsidia Ward that is overrun with vines when you enter the Ward. After the overgrowths are gone, there are a few encounters and items scattered around.
After the player has obtained TMX1 Cut, the alleyway in the bottom left corner of Obsidia is now accessible. The alleyway holds a few hidden items, trainers, different wild Pokémon, and a few Special Encounters.
The Obsidia Department Store is a large building in the Obsidia Ward that sells almost every kind of item imaginable. However, due to a low stock, patrons must have a certain number of stickers on their Membership Card to be able to access certain floors.
The Yureyu HQ is an abandoned building located in the Obsidia Ward. The building was damaged by the disasters that took place prior to the start of the game. Later on in the game, it is revealed that the building was destroyed by Team Meteor.
After defeating ZEL in Obsidia Park, the player gains access to the Obsidia Department Store. They can speak to the employee on the right side of the elevator or the employee inside the elevator to receive the Membership Card. The first sticker is given for free along with the Membership Card.
A women in the Pokémon Center is concerned for her boyfriend who got swallowed up by the earthquakes caused by the vines. Find him in the back of the Underground Railnet and she will give you a department store sticker.
Ability Capsule Sidequest[]
A woman inside the center is concerned about her son, who is lost in the current chaos. Locate him in South Obsidia Ward next to the Glamzonia Salon after destroying the PULSE and return him to her to receive an Ability Capsule.
Swirlix Event[]
In the Sweet Kiss Candy Shop you can win a Swirlix by completing a puzzle. This can be done multiple times. The Swirlix has the Egg Move Belly Drum in its moveset. Below is the puzzle solution:
Vanillite Event[]
In the Sweet Kiss Candy Shop is a little girl that says she wants some Ice Cream. Chocolate Ice Cream can be bought from the Ice Cream Lady standing in front of the Grand Hall on sunny days. Giving the girl the ice cream will move her out of the way. Ordering a Vanilla Ice Cream from the vending machine will cause a Vanillite to drop down instead. The Vanillite doesn't have any Egg Move in it moveset.
Bounsweet Event[]
If the player brings Glamzonia Salon's Glameow to Central Salon's groomer, she will fight you. If the player win this fight, they will receive a Bounsweet. The Bounsweet has two Egg Moves in its moveset: Play Rough and Synthesis.
Petilil Event[]
After the player has obtained Badge 02, during sunny morning and daytime, Petilil can be found in the Obsidia Park, and will join the player if they have PokéSnax. The Petilil doesn't have any Egg Move in it moveset.
Castform Trade[]
In a house near Pokémon Center, a girl will trade you her Castform for a Furret. The Castform doesn't have any Egg Move in it moveset.
Obsidia Ward derives its name from the mineral, obsidian, a black volcanic glass that has been used since the stone age for making knives and other sharp utility objects.
