Located around the Wasteland are five Chemical Vats. An example of one can be seen directly next to the entrance of the stairway building. In order to gain access to the Grotto, the player must turn all 5 Chemical Vats into red. Their locations are as follows;
After the player obtains TMX4 Strength, they can obtain a Squirtle. Even though the location of the Squirtle is in Byxbysion Wasteland, the way to reach it involves going through the Grotto.
The player will be able to catch a Spiritomb if they have an Odd Keystone. You can get one by mining in glowing rocks. It has one of these Egg Moves in its moveset: Destiny Bond, Pain Split, or Shadow Sneak.
Anomaly Naganadel is battled on a Wasteland in a Single Battle format. All Pokemon have nicknames on Lin Route and do not have nicknames on Anna Route.
