Saving Ditto

In the top cage in the northewest corner of the first basement, there's a Ditto, with a Vanillite in the cage below. Use Abra to teleport Vanillite away and then to teleport Makuhita below Ditto. It will then transform into Makuhita and use Close Combat to break the cage. Talk to Ditto and it will join you. (Before doing so, make sure you use Ditto to get the Rare Candy from Lickitung)
